The Blue Collar team and their managing director Glen Dinning have been nominated for the Hospitality Award.
Their nominator said: “Glen and the whole Blue Collar team and concept are brilliant! They work so hard to bring great food, great events and a great atmosphere to Reading at their lunchtime market and Blue Collar Corner at the weekends.
“They are also hugely supportive of the local community – supporting local organisations through donations and profits and in-kind donations. An absolute asset to Reading.”
The award sponsored by REDA, Reading's Economic and Destination Agency, is inspired by and in memory of journalist, food writer and Pride of Reading organiser Hilary Scott.
