A business providing catering on the move has been nominated for a Hospitality Award which was was inspired by and is in memory of Hilary Scott, much missed local food journalist and Pride of Reading organiser. It is sponsored REDA, Reading’s Economy and Destination Agency.

Oh My Nosh! provides private dining, corporate catering, wedding and events across Berkshire, using local ingredients and catering for all dietary requirements which a company motto of “Where there's a whisk, there’s a way!”

Oh My Nosh! nominator wrote: “Carrie and the team have catered for a number of events that I have held and her food is absolutely excellent.

“She uses fresh in-season ingredients and creates not only stunning dishes but memories for her clients. I have recommended Carrie to a number of my clients and friends and all have been blown away by her skill and passion for food.

“I know Carrie is now trying to raise funds to buy a mobile kitchen to teach vulnerable people how to cook healthy, low cost meals, and also homeless communities.

“Carrie/Oh My Nosh! caters for small and large gatherings and events and I couldn’t recommend them enough for this award.”
