Me2 provides support for disabled young people to access mainstream groups like the Scouts and swimming classes.
The organisation, nominated for Charity for the Year, have now started a teenage group to enjoy activities together.
Their nominator said: “Me2 are great at developing ways to build up young people's social skills and independence while having fun.
“My son has been helped at Scouts, at a drama group, and now he attends teen group outings and meetings.” they added.
The award is sponsored by international recruitment firm Roc Search.
