Maiden Erlegh comprehensive have gone above and beyond to support students with additional needs who have become disengaged and anxious about school, says its nominator.

“It is incredibly inspiring to see how hard the staff work,” they added, regarding the school in Crescent Road, Reading whose motto is “opportunity, diversity and success for all”.

The school has been nominated for School of the Year, sponsored by Qwerty.
