Learners who are supported by a training company have requested that it puts itself forward for a Business in Action Under 50 Employees award sponsored by law firm Boyes Turner.
Chiltern Training have been training apprentices across Reading since 1993 and staff work tirelessly to support young people to find an apprenticeship and succeed in their careers, the nomination said.
This year marks 30 years of working with local Early Years settings and local businesses to train over 5,000 people.
It works with local businesses to support their growth by sourcing new talent and training them via government funded training routes, said the nomination.
The company was established in Reading in 1993 as a private training provider and offers a range of learning opportunities in childcare, business and administration.
The Business in Action award recognises companies, large or small, showing a commitment to working with the community. There are two awards. for firms with under 50 and over 50 employees.
