An individual or team engaged in diverse and challenging tasks, or simply who have stepped up when needed to help others.
The support staff team at a dance group for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is made up entirely of volunteers who “do a truly fantastic job”, said their nominator for the Volunteers of the Year award.
Chance to Dance Stars aim is to support and provide the joy of dance to children with SEND.
“The whole team .. give so much of their time to help the children and families who attend. They work tirelessly to provide support, keep up to date with training and also to provide support to children and families outside of sessions.”
